Horno Rubbishes United Rumours

Athletic Bilbao defender Asier Del Horno has rubbished rumours linking him with a move to Old Trafford in the summer as Sir Alex Ferguson looks to add depth to his defence.

The 23-year old centre half has been an integral part of the Bilbao team that have reached an impressive 5th place in this year's La Liga and has attracted interest home and abroad.

"There is nothing to speak on this subject. I do no know anything or do the club and therefore there is nothing of which to speak," he admitted.

"The only thing that interests me is that I finish renewing with Athletic and that I am very contented even more every day."

"We have enough with the squad if they stay to think about next season." he continued.

The Spaniard has banged in 5 goals from defence and is knocking on the door of the Spanish national team, hoping his performances can earn him a place in Euro 2004.
