Manchester United and Lancastrian rivlas Blackburn Rovers are both reportedly hot on the trail of Norwegian starlet Morten Gamst Pedersen, who plays for Norwegian outfit Tromso. Blackburn Rovers boss Graeme Sounesswas present during Tromso's 4-1 win over Rosenborg and was impressed.

Morten Gamst Pedersen, who plays for Norwegian outfit Tromso.
Blackburn Rovers boss Graeme Sounesswas present during Tromso's 4-1 demolition of Rosenborg and was impressed with the 22-year old. United boss Sir Alex Ferguson will send scouts out to Tromso's next game against Bodo/Glimt to assess the starlet. "I think Morten has got many qualities. He has got an eye for goal and is a clever player. He also shoots well." said Souness. "I think we will continue to follow him. We will see what happens after the season in England ends this weekend." he added. Tromso will demand around £2 million as Rovers and United gear up for a bidding war. |
