Queiroz to Return to United?

Real Madrid directors have agreed to terminate Carlos Queiroz's contract as manager at the Bernabau and is set to return to Manchester United as assistant manager of United.

Queiroz left Old Trafford in the summer to manage the Spanish giants but hasn't lived up to the expectations that the Real board set when he took over.

After losing in the Quarter-Final of the Champions League to Monaco and finishing 4th in La Liga, the Portuguese coach now looks set to once again be Sir Alex Ferguson's No.2.

The former South Africa national team coach as hinted that he would like to return to Manchester if he were to get the chop at Real, which he has received.

Walter Smith, Fergie's current right-hand man, has a contract that will expire very shortly and is now set to be replaced by Querioz.
