United''s France international striker Louis Saha has stated that Old Trafford doesn't need Wayne Rooney or indeed another striker on it's books. With Ruud van Nistelrooy, Alan Smith, David Bellion, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Diego Forlan and himself - he declared United have enough attacking options.

Manchester United''s France international striker Louis Saha has stated that Old Trafford doesn't need Wayne Rooney or indeed another striker on it's books.

With the likes of Ruud van Nistelrooy, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Diego Forlan, David Bellion along with himself and the latest attacking recruit Alan Smith - Saha has deemed it irrelevant to bid for the England prodigy.

"We don't need another striker," stressed the 25-year old former Fulham man.

"Ruud (van Nistelrooy) and I can give United fans something they haven't had since Dwight Yorke and Andy Cole."

"Next season, once we get used to playing alongside each other, the goals will flow. We can form a great partnership and be as good as any other pair.

"Ruud's fantastic and I know we'll work well together. We also have Alan Smith, who is a different kind of striker, but it shows the options we've got in attack," he added.
