Forlan, Heinze & Kleberson Make Copa Semis

United trio Diego Forlan, Kleberson and Gabriel Heinze have all made it to the semi-finals of the Copa America with their respective countries. Kleberson completed a full game in midfield, aiding his country Brazil to a 4-0 victory over Mexico.

Manchester United trio Diego Forlan,
Kleberson and Gabriel Heinze have all made it to the semi-finals of the
Copa America with their respective countries.
Kleberson completed a full game in midfield, aiding his country Brazil to a 4-0 victory over Mexico. Inter Milan's Adriano struck a double after Alex beat Mexico's keeper to open the scoring. Oliveira rounded off the romp with 4 minutes to go. Striker Diego Forlan was substituted after the hour mark but did his fair share in helping Uruguay thump Paraguay 3-1. A well struck free-kick from United target Carlos Tevez was enough to guide Heinze and Argentina past the tough Peruvians. Kleberson's Brazil will now play Forlan's Uruguay in the semis with Heinze's Argentina coming up against reigning champions Columbia. |
