Manchester United 'XI' have maintained their unbeaten pre-season record by drawing 2-2 with League One outfit Walsall at The Bescot Stadium. With all United's big stars rested or in America, Ricky Sbraiga could only send out fringe reserve players and youth players.

Manchester United 'XI' have maintained their
unbeaten pre-season record by drawing 2-2 with League One outfit Walsall
at The Bescot Stadium.
With all United's big stars rested or in America, Ricky Sbraiga could only send out fringe reserve players and youth players to battle it out with the Saddlers. United's Colin Heath picked up a loose ball early in the first-half and coolly slotted it home to give the 'XI' an first-half lead. However it only took The Saddlers 3 minutes of the second half to reply with an equalizer after Corcia picked out young Matt Fryatt who made no mistake finding the net. Walsall were then awarded a penalty after Flo Ngalula handled Fryatt's ball in the area. Fryatt fired Walsall into the lead from the spot. With just 15 minutes left to go substitute Sylvain Ebanks-Blake pulled off a marvelous turn-and-shot to beat 'keeper Paston and equalize for the Red Devils.
