According to reports, Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is looking to add yet another foreign youngster to his ever growing squad - this time Marouane Chamakh is the starlet linked. The 20-year-old has already established himself in his Bordeaux squad.

According to reports, Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is looking to add yet another foreign youngster to his ever growing squad - this time Marouane Chamakh is the starlet linked.

Chamakh, 20, has established himself in his Bordeaux squad and fired half-a-dozen goals during last season's Ligue 1 campaign.

Putting in performances so impressive, he earned a call-up to from his country, Morocco, to represent them in the 2004 African Cup of Nations.

Old Trafford scouts were reportedly present during Bordeaux's 5-1 lambaste of Nice last weekend; a game that saw Chamakh score an impressive hat-trick.

Sir Alex Ferguson is trying to give his youth-team and reserves a very cosmopolitan look by signing players from all over the world rather than home-based players. The Scotsman has already signed players from many countries including Spain, Italy, America, Finland, Togo and Brazil.
