Championship Clubs Chasing Djordjic

Youngster Djordjic has been all around the world on-loan during his unhappy time at Old Trafford and feels it's time to move on to further his career in football.

Close rivals Leeds United are said to be among Championship clubs leading the race to snap up the Swede. The Yorkshire club have made a jittery start to life outside the Premiership and linger in 16th position.

Wigan Athletic are also said to be close to signing the flanker and have made a decent start to the season. Paul Jewell's side stand firm at top of the table and are yet to be beaten.

Djordjic spent last season on-loan to Red Star Belgrade and was even given a chance to prove himself on United's tour of America in pre-season, but didn't impress Sir Alex Ferguson.
