Ferguson Hails 'Fantastic' Heinze

Heinze's debut in a United jersey was put on-hold for quite a while to due international and Olympic duty, but has sure made up for the time missed with some solid and consistent performances.

"He's been fantastic and I'm pleased about him. I knew he could defend well and that was why I brought him here and there was a good option in that I could play him as a centre back. He has done really well for me. He's got a toughness there." Said Scotsman Ferguson.

He proceeded: "Fans love people who try and he is a determined, aggressive full-back and he enjoys playing."

Argentine Heinze managed to bag a goal on his Premiership debut a few weeks ago and has already been hailed by Red Devil supporters as a potential future captain.

The £7 million former PSG man was signed by Sir Alex Ferguson this summer.
