Giggs, 30, also insisted that he and his Wales side can make 2nd place and hopefully qualify for the World Cup 2006 in Germany.

"I think now we're going for second place, and we must try to win every game from now on, it's as simple as that." said Giggs.

"We didn't let ourselves down but the sort of stuff they played is what we have to aspire to" 

He added: "We're disappointed with our attacking. We just didn't create enough chances or cause them as much problems as we'd hoped.
