United haven't been performing so well in their domestic league however and are currently 6th in the Premier League.

Sir Alex Ferguson is hampered by major absentees in Rio Ferdinand and Roy Keane, whilst Paul Scholes and Wayne Rooney are set to start after only making the bench against Birmingham on the weekend. England international Ferdinand is out due to family commitments and Irishman Keane is suffering from the flu.

Regarding injury news, Scotsman Ferguson said: "Wayne Rooney needs games, to be honest. He's only 18 years of age and he's been out for 96 days."

He added: "Paul Scholes will be in the frame for the Sparta match provided he is all right. He has trained all week but he got a wee niggle on it again on Thursday but I am sure he will be OK."

One to Watch: Striker Milan Pacanda is on-fire in the Czech Premier Division for Sparta. The former FC Brno forward will cause a major threat in the Toyota Arena tomorrow.
