Neville Bemoans "Pussy-Foot" Attacking Attitude

Manchester United right-back Gary Neville has sent out a clear message to the Red Devils' front-men, demanding they must be more potent in front of goal and convert the chances they have.

With an array of attacking talent including Ruud van Nistelrooy, Louis Saha, Wayne Rooney, Alan Smith, David Bellion and midfielders such as Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Cristiano Ronaldo - Neville can still find a void.

Sir Alex Ferguson's side have netted 6 goals in their last two Premiership games, against West Brom and Southampton, but Neville believes the forwards can bag more. "We had to find that ruthless streak in front of goal, and against Southampton we had a couple of chances where we tried to pussy-foot our way into the net instead of smashing it in."

"That is when you can send out a message, when you start to win 4-0 or 5-0. Then people start to think 'Hang on a minute ..'"

Regarding the weekend home win against The Saints, the England international defender commented: "Once we did get that first goal, we produced 15 or 20 minutes of football that was really impressive, quick and decisive."

"Before that, in the first half, we had been a little bit indecisive, and not as ruthless in our selection in the final third."
