Arsenal v. Manchester United - Ratings

Busy, busy, busy, didn't have time to do much more, although I had much more I would have liked to have talked about. I probably got afew mistakes in there somewhere too.  Sorry.

Carroll-A good game and some stunning saves! -7

G Neville-Defensively tight and I saw him occasionally going forward. -7

Rio-He may have looked shaky at times but he made many saving tackles! -7.5

Silvestre-Some fantastic tackles! Thought he did ok...that is until he head butted Ljungberg! It was a bit silly but can you really blame him for head butting Ljungberg?! I for one can't...! A decent game from him but overshadowed by his head butt! -5

Heinze-Never stopped trying! Despite losing Vieira for the early goal he improved as the game progressed. Was absolutely solid! Opposition must hate this guy! -8

Keane-Despite being fired up by Vieira before the game, kept his cool. Did some absolutely fantastic tackles during that game! A captain's performance, on and off the pitch! -9

Scholes-Kept possession well, won tackles, precise passing. Crucial part of our attack. Was great defensively too. Made a great goal clearance off the line to deny Arsenal a goal. Fantastic as usual then! -8

Fletcher-Very good comeback from injury! He was substituted early in the second half cos apparently, he was injured... - 7

Ronaldo-Thought he was relativly quiet in the first half. Gave the ball away too often too. But later went on to scoring two majestic goals! Throughout the game, he never stopped challenging Arsenals defence. - 7.5

Giggs-Was also constantly challenging the Arsenal defence. - 8

Rooney-Constant threat. Called Pires a "pussy" and stroked his whiskers. Then said to Graham Poll "You can't card me! You know it's true!" Good lad. At times though, he should shut him mouth-he should stop saying "**** off" constantly.

Saha-6
O'Shea-7
Brown-6.5

Arsenal

Almunia-Awful, but should have let a few more goals in! - 2

Lauren-Did more going forward than defending. - 4

Campbell-Rubbish. -3

Cygan-The only defender who was actually defending. -6

Cole-A scandalous dive very early in the game, typical. Didn't post much threat but more than his fellow team mates. - 4

Ljungberg- Didn't do anything to really get noticed. Apart from falling when Silvestre head butted him-silly fairy. -3

Vieira-May have caused trouble in the tunnel before the match and scored the first goal but failed to do pretty much everything else on the pitch. Pathetic excuse for a captain! -4

Pires- Didn't do much. Clearly outshone by Ronaldo. -3

Bergkamp-Their best player. Still a twat though, of course!-7

Henry-What happened to his "va va voom"?! -5

Their pre-match comments were hilarious! Especially Reyes'! He told us to 'be afraid' and to be more frightened of him, than he is of us. Of course, when it came to the moment, his performance and behavior didn't reflect his intensions or comments. When he finally did come on, he looked frightened and nervous; whilst our players continued looking calm, despite his presence. Oh, he did get booked, which makes him look all big and hard. I wonder what he has got to say now! That guy makes me laugh!

Vieira was a disgrace again. Typical! Keane did well to cope with on and off the pitch. Despite being fired up before the game, he looked cool and calm. Vieira was intimidating G Neville and Keane said he wasn't having it and said: Keane told Sky Sports: "I don't want to go into too much detail but Patrick Vieira is 6ft 4in and having a go at Gary Neville. So I said, 'have a go at me'. If they think Gary Neville's an easy target, I'm not having it."  The guy is truly a legend! Vieira then bottled it! And after the match, Vieira chose not to comment. But a day later, he says he was "just having a word with him"-where previously, he didn't want to comment. Says it all really!

Still, after the game, Vieira, Henry, Ljungberg and Cole all stayed on the field last night to shake hands with our players!. We were the much better team and as Vieira said "Credit to us." Doesn't hide the fact that they are whining, pathetic, hypocritical cheats.

I couldn't really blame Silvestre for head butting Ljungberg. Although in a crucial match like this, you could say it was a bit silly! I didn't think it was like Silvestre to head butt him-but who wouldn't want to head butt Ljungberg?! If he was going to get sent off though, he should have done it properly-not that it takes much-it is Ljungberg after all...! Ljungberg stated the obvious after the match: "He head butted me and it bled."

Heinze said: "It is the best victory from all my time in England, I am happy because it is not possible every day to get a great triumph at Arsenal's home."

Too right!

We played at Highbury, we were 2-1 down at half time, we finished with 10 men and ended up winning 4-2. We ended their unbeaten run and now their title hopes for this season. And to believe they used to call themselves the 'invincible'-oh, how the mighty have fallen! Thanks to us of course!

So...:

Vieira vs Keane- Keane
Wenger vs Ferguson-Ferguson
Arsenal vs Man Utd-Man Utd

I say no more...!
