Fox Hunting for Old Trafford Exit

Manchester United youngster David Fox has finally lost patience in waiting for for first-team opportunities as a Red Devil, and looks set to leave Old Trafford in the near future with Rotherham and an anonymous Dutch side waiting to pounce.

Midfielder Fox, an England Youth international, will train with Championship strugglers Rotherham for the next few days and then fly east to hook up with a club in Holland.

The 21-year-old has limited first-team experience, enjoying a short loan spell at Shrewsbury earlier this term. He also spent one year with Belgian feeder club Royal Antwerp.

Manager of Rotherham, Alan Knill, revealed that Fox is joining his squad for a short trial, stating: "We have got him here for a few days so that we can take a look at each other"

"He is the type of player we have to be assessing when you consider the age of many of our current players"

He added: "David is also intending to spend a few days with a Dutch club so we are hoping that he will want to stay with us if we feel he is what we are looking for after his trial."
