Gattuso Expresses United Desire

AC Milan midfielder Gennaro Gattuso has expressed his sheer desire to one day represent Manchester United, claming he's bee fond of the Red Devils for many years.

The Italian international's comments come leading up to this week's crunch Champions League return clash at the San Siro between the two clubs. United face an uphill battle having lost 1-0 at home.

The Old Trafford faithful have always backed Sir Alex Ferguson to swoop for Gattuso, who is no stranger to British football having been a hit at Glasgow Rangers for a number of years.

"My dream is to play for Manchester United in England." The tenacious midfielder revealed. "I know it is a bit soon to talk about it because we have this big game coming up against United, but I have always been fascinated by them"

"I would love to have a new experience, even in the next year or two"

Gattuso has been kept tabs on by several other English clubs over the past few seasons, but would always chose to be a Red Devil. He added: "I would choose Manchester United ahead of the likes of Chelsea because the stadium has a very special atmosphere and the club is world famous, like Milan."
