United Face Newcastle in FA Cup Semis

Manchester United will face Graeme Souness' Newcastle United in the Semi Finals of the FA Cup at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium on either Saturday 16th April or Sunday 17th April.

The draw was made earlier this afternoon by Sir Trevor Brooking, who also paired Arsenal off with Blackburn Rovers. 

The fixture will be a repeat of 1999's FA Cup Final, where United triumphed 2-0 at Wembley to bag themselves the second out of the three trophies they won in that incredible season.

Magpies skipper Alan Shearer is positive his side can progress to the final and pick up some much needed silverware. The striker stated: "It's a tough draw, but we have beaten Chelsea and we can do the same to Manchester United,"
