Manchester United v. Fulham - Match Preview

Manchester United play hosts to Fulham tomorrow as the Red Devils look to push Chelsea's title challenge to the wire and keep the pressure on Jose Mourinho's fleet.

United will be looking to inflict some punishment on Chris Coleman's outfit as revenge for Papa Bouba Diop's late strike at Craven Cottage earlier on in the season. The 1-1 draw in December was a pivotal moment in the disappointing season so-far in what was a must-win game.

Chelsea are looking well on course to pick up their first League trophy in 50 years following Didier Drogba's first half strike that beat West Brom earlier this week. The gap between the Blues and United is now extended to 11 points.

The visitors meet United for the 50th time in the league, hoping to pull further away from the dreaded relegation drop-zone. The Cottagers currently lie in 15th spot with 30 points.

Chances of them taking maximum points away from Old Trafford look slim as United are undefeated in 18 Premiership matches. Former Red Devil Andy Cole will seek to put one over on his old club.

Welsh winger Ryan Giggs could return to the starting line-up at the expense of Quinton Fortune whilst Gary Neville is likely to return to his right-back position following an ankle problem.

Chris Coleman welcomes back experienced duo Ian Pearce and Mark Pembridge from the sidelines. Coleman revealed that he's been keeping his side concentrated and fit for the trip up North after a long break from action. 

"It's difficult when you've got a two-week break because you train through the week and there's nothing at the end of the week for the guys to put the work in training into practice"

"I think it's all about keeping the concentration levels high, making sure the standard of training hasn't dropped and it didn't - if anything it's increased. We've had two good weeks training and preparation for this big game on Saturday"
