Duo Nominated For PFA Award

Manchester United pair Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney have both been nominated for this season's Young Player Of The Year award.

The duo join Tottenham Hotspur's Jermain Defoe, Middlesbrough's Stewart Downing, Chelsea's Arjen Robben and Manchester City's Shaun Wright-Phillips in the running for the accolade, currently held by Scott Parker.

The winner will be announced on Sunday 24th April in London's Grosvenor House Hotel along with the PFA Player of the Year award.

Chelsea trio John Terry, Frank Lampard and Petr Cech along with 2004 winner Thierry Henry, Crystal Palace's Andy Johnson and Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard make up the nominees for the full award. Not one Red Devil included.
