Ferguson Left Fuming with Draw

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has lamented his side's lack of attacking prowess during the 1-1 draw with West Brom on Saturday evening.

The Baggies fought their way to a draw and equalised on the hour mark via the penalty spot after Ryan Giggs broke the deadlock in the first half through a free-kick.

Substitute goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak kept his side in the game by denying the United attack on countless occasions, something Sir Alex Ferguson is fuming with. "The number of chances we had today was embarrassing,'' said Ferguson.

"It's a terrible result given the chances we had, we'll get justifiable criticism for the chances we missed."

"That's what happens so many times. You need the type of player like Ruud van Nistelrooy to finish matches. It's a pity."
