Ferguson Looking to the Future

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is looking to the younger players at the club to revive the club's future and help them pick up silverware next season.

The Scotsman also reflected on an undeserved F.A Cup Final defeat to Arsenal in a game where duo Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo excelled.

Ferguson also claimed the pressure is on him to handle any obstacle in his path. "The test of any manager or player however is how they handle adversity," he said. "We've always been galvanised by disappointment because there's a good character in the team.

"We didn't deserve what happened FA Cup Final. We'll get ourselves off the ground next season.

"You could have tossed a coin for man of the match out of Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo in the FA Cup Final. They were great, the pair of them.

It'll be a tough task for Ferguson and his fleet to challenge the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea next term, but he insists the club have a promising future in their youth. "We're heading towards a new team with some of the young players that are here. There's a great future for those boys, and Darren Fletcher as well."
