United Seal Park Deal

Manchester United have finally completed the signing of midfielder Park Ji Sung from PSV Eindhoven for £4 million. The South Korean has penned a four-year deal worth £2 million a year.

The Red Devils have been stuck in negotiations for around 2 weeks with the Dutch giants but finally let their Asian star leave for slightly under £4 million.

Park put pen-to-paper on a four year deal after passing a medical earlier today and was a key player in PSV's Champions League adventure, where they got cruelly knocked out in he semis.

He also impressed United scouts in South Korea's 4-0 triumph over Kuwait in a World Cup Qualifying game and even got his name on the scoresheet.

The deal will also spark great interest in Asia, but Park wants to impress on the field as well as off. "I am confident I can prove myself at one of the world's top clubs," said Ji Sung. "As a Korean I will prove that Koreans can play at that level.

"I want to show my value to United in terms of my ability, not for some marketing strategy for Asia.

"I am not going to England for business."
