Kleberson Targeting Benfica Move

World Cup winning midfielder Kleberson claims he should be allowed to leave Old Trafford should he not get first-team action next season with Manchester United.

The Brazilian midfielder has been the subject of a move to clubs from all across the globe in recent months including Werder Bremen, Corinthians and Benfica.

Injury-plagued Kleberson has made only 30 appearances in a Red Devils jersey since his move in 2003 from Atletico Paranaense.

He stated: "If I am not going to be given the chance to play for United, I should be allowed to leave.

"I've not been lucky at United and I hope this year will be different.

"I'm under contract and I need to know what they want of me.

"As for Benfica, I would love to play there. The same goes for Sporting."
