Robson Confident About Richardson Deal

West Bromwich Albion manager Bryan Robson has revealed that he's confident Kieran Richardson will be a Baggie next season despite interest from other clubs.

Richardson, who made a massive impact at the Hawthorns by helping the club narrowly avoid relegation, received a call up to Sven Goran Eriksson's England squad who toured America earlier this summer and scored two goals on his debut against the USA.

The young midfielder is now set for crunch talks with Sir Alex Ferguson over his future at Old Trafford. The recent signing of Park Ji Sung indicates Ferguson wants to refresh his midfield and many fans are demanding the Scotsman gives the international a chance.

However, United legend Bryan Robson is sure Richardson would opt for West Brom should he leave. "There will be a few people after Kieran after the way he performed for us last season and then what he did for England," he said.

"But his future will not be resolved until Sir Alex Ferguson has had a word with Kieran and his dad.

"I know that meeting is going to happen some time this week but no one knows the outcome.

"What I am confident about is if Kieran is going to go out on loan, he'll be at West Brom next season."
