Giggs: We Must Concentrate

Ryan Giggs has insisted Manchester United can better last season's performances if the team pull together and concentrate in matches.

The Wales international skipper thinks that the points margin between the Red Devils and Premiership champions Chelsea, which was 18 points, does not reflect the overall picture.

"I have every reason to believe we can win the title back," he said. "People go on about the points gap between us and Chelsea but I think that paints a false picture.

"The ability in this United squad is just as good as theirs. We just lacked concentration at key times last season and against teams we would normally beat."

"It's not down to ability. It is down to concentration at the right times. It is down to passing at the right time, in the right places and choosing when to shoot. The manager will make sure those things are addressed."
