United Trio in England Squad

Manchester United trio Gary Neville, Rio Ferdinand and Wayne Rooney have been included in Sven Goran Eriksson's squad to face Denmark next week.

Ruud van Nistelrooy has reiterated his intentions to stay at Old Trafford despite tempting links to La Liga giants Barcelona and Real

Everton's new recruit and former United player Phil Neville is included amongst England's midfield elite while Andy Johnston retains his place upfront ahead of Alan Smith.

Kieran Richardson will represent the England U21 side but Ledley King, Sol Campbell, Wes Brown and Wayne Bridge will miss out on any action due to injury.

This friendly is deemed a warm-up for the Three Lions' competitive fixtures against Wales and Northern Ireland.
