Fergie Hails Team Spirit

Sir Alex Ferguson has praised his side for the decent start they've made in the Premiership this season despite drawing 1-1 with rivals Manchester City on the weekend.

The only goal United have conceded proved to be the difference between a draw and a win at Old Trafford against City on Saturday, but have nevertheless been impressive.

"We've only played four games, we've had some tough ones. We've been to Everton and Newcastle. They're tough places to go to. Aston Villa came here and defended for their lives, Manchester City have done exactly the same," the Scotsman pleasantly commented.

"It's not an easy league when it's like that. What we do well is play with great confidence and a good team spirit.

"It's early and one of the good signs for us is that we've made a better start than we normally make."
