Ronaldo to Feature Against Spurs

Cristiano Ronaldo is set to feature for Manchester United tomorrow against Tottenham Hotspur, amid an ongoing investigation claiming he raped a girl at a London hotel.

Sir Alex Ferguson is facing an injury crisis at the moment, missing key players such as Roy Keane, Gary Neville, Gabriel Heinze and Ryan Giggs, who will miss up to a month of action with a broken cheekbone.

The Portuguese international has endured a tough time off the field recently. Last month he lost his father and missed a few games for bereavement and now has to deal with these accusations of rape and a police investigation.

However, Ferguson is adamant he will keep Ronaldo focused on the pitch and protect the youngster. "Obviously Cristiano has had a difficult time. But he trained yesterday and trained again today and he will be okay," he said.
