Saha on the Road to Recovery

Manchester United striker Louis Saha claims he's on the road to recovery after a string of injuries that has haunted him since pre-season.

Ruud van Nistelrooy has reiterated his intentions to stay at Old Trafford despite tempting links to La Liga giants Barcelona and Real

The Frenchman, yet to prove himself since joining United from Fulham, is confident he will overcome everything and make his first start of the season in the coming weeks.

He said: "I will resume training sessions on Thursday. I feel better but this time the coach was scared, and so he told me to take my time.

"I have a huge desire to come back but I have so much desire that I don't want to play a match and get a new injury because I have rushed to come back.

"I just know I am not far away anymore."
