SAF: "Don't Criticise Each Other."

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has called for his players not to criticise each other to the press following Roy Keane's interview that has caused major controversy this week.

Speaking ahead of Sunday's fixture with Chelsea, Ferguson points out he's dealt with a bad run of form in the past and also claims his side will deal with the situation.

United lost 4-1 to Middlesbrough last weekend and lost 1-0 to Lille in the Champions League on Wednesday. Ferguson said: "You don't criticise any of the Manchester United players outside the doors.

"I've never done. I won't. It's not any tougher than any other week when you have bad results. We have had them in periods over the years.

"You have to deal with it. Of course there is criticism, criticism coming from all directions, and what you have to do as manager of our club is to make sure the criticism remains inside your doors.

"I'm unremitting in that respect, unequivocal, the stance is there and it won't change." 

An MUTV interview with Roy Keane has sparked this controversy after the Irishman slammed player such as Alan Smith, Kieran Richardson, John O'Shea, Darren Fletcher and Liam Miller.
