Ex-United players pying their trade as managers in the Premiership have spoke out in support of Sir Alex Ferguson. Bryan Robson, Steve Bruce and Mark Hughes have all spoke out in favour of the Scotsman.

Bryan Bobson, Steve Bruce and Mark Hughes have all backed their former boss to overcome the current pressure on his position as United manager following the dismal performance in this season's Champions League competition.

Bryan Bobson claimed that Sir Alex "is still the man everyone should look up to." The West Brom boss believes that United will bounce back from their European dissapointment and stake their claim for any of the three domestic trophies; "They are still in three domestic competitions and will do the best they can to win all three."

Steve Bruce, who's Birmingham side are languishing dangerously low in the division, is perplexed by the notion of Ferguson's job being under threat;
"If Sir Alex is under pressure, we have all gone barking mad."

Blackburn Manager, Mark Hughes believes that Ferguson has been in worse situations than the present and belives that the Scot has the experience required to guide himself, and the club, through these precarious times; "He's been through worse and come through it, and I have no doubt he will come through it again."
