It was not pretty but Manchester United, thanks to a last-gasp own goal, escaped the JJB Stadium with all three points on Monday night. The hosts took the lead through Paul Scharner, only for Cristiano Ronaldo to level things up before Pascal Chimbonda put into his own net in the closing seconds.
