Celtic Take North Stand for Keane Testimonial

Manchester United FC have allocated travelling Celtic fans the entire North Stand for Roy Keane's upcoming testimonial fixture. The game has been confirmed for May 9th and Old Trafford is expecting an influx of 25,000 away supporters, setting a new British record.

Roy Keane's forthcoming testimonial match is set to break a British record for travelling support.

Glasgow Celtic, one of the world's best-supported clubs, will visit Old Trafford on May 9th in a fixture especially arranged for the Irishman who is now playing his football at Parkhead.

United have allocated Celtic fans the entire North Stand following huge demand from the Scottish club. This means some 25,000 green & white hooped shirts should be in attendance at Old Trafford with the overall crowd estimated at around the 70,000 mark following the recent 'quadrant' extensions.

Keane has already pledged to give 1,000 tickets away to local school children whilst all proceeds from the game are expected to go to charity.

Tickets prices, listed below, are perhaps a little over-priced for a friendly. However, Keane was one of the club's greatest servants and he will get the big turn-out he undoubtedly deserves.
