KHFC PEN PICTURES 2003-2004 SEASON
Goalkeepers
1. Stuart Brock
Brocky joined Harriers under old boss Graham Allner in 1997. he broke his arm during his first season forcing him out until 1998/99. Brock then established himself as Harriers number one until the arrival of new boss Jan Molby the following summer. For the next two seasons, the Championship season and Harriers League debut season he thought for his place with Tim Clarke. Following Clarke’s departure Brocky has mainly been our number one. Fought off competition last season from fellow canine name goaly Frazer Digby. A good shot stopper, he is prone to the odd clanger but overall a good committed keeper. Previously with Aston Villa and Northampton Town, without appearing in their first teams.
Brocky
15. John Danby
Yet to see much of this young keeper who has only ever made two league appearances, coming off the bench. Last season saw another one of Deep vein Thrombosis only interrupted by a loan spell at Stourport Swifts. Product of the youth team is famed for his boy racer car.
Defenders
2. Adie Smith
Adie is currently harriers longest serving player, beating Stuart Brock by a few months in joining from Bromsgrove Rovers for a fee of £19,000 in the summer of 1997. He was a target in the previous campaign and maybe would have helped us pip Macclesfield to the title. No nonsense player who has played in most defensive positions and can do a job in midfield. Smudger is very popular with the Kiddie faithful and is certainly one of the jokers of the squad.
3. Scott Stamps
Stampsie joined Harriers in September 1999, initially on loan and went on to play an important role in our Championship winning team. Started out with Torquay Utd and played against Harriers in the 1994 FA Cup game. Scott can also play as part of a back three. An injury ravaged season last time out and will be looking to make amends this time. Another joker, Stamps does have a powerful shot on him and should score a few more goals than he does. Joined the club from Colchester.
5.Craig Hinton
Craig
Craig joined us from Birmingham City in 1998 and signed after a successful trial. He did start out as a full back but was moved into the centre during 1999/2000 by Jan Molby. From then on he has been very consistent and a skilful defender. Another who can play anywhere in defence.
6. Matt Gadesby
Matt was Britt’s first signing of the 2003-4 close season. A versatile defender, he joined Harriers from Mansfield Town on a free transfer. He started his career at Walsall and made around 40 appearances for the Saddlers, including their play off final win against Reading.
16. Lee Ayres
Lee signed a short term deal during summer 2003. Started with Walsall at youth team level then moving on to Kiddy’s youth team. Has made steady progress and scored twice against Exeter last season. Will need to impress this term to win a longer deal.
Lee was released at the end of November 2003 and has since joined Tamworth.
Kenny Coleman
Kenny signed a one year deal in August 2003 after a succesful trial and loan spell at Aggborough. The former Wolves youngster can play in a variety of defensive positions and has recently filled in at wing back.
Adam Willis
Centre half Adam joined the club in August 2003 after a short trial. An experienced defender he was previously with Swindon Town and Coventry City.Recently loaned to Burton Albion
Wayne Hatswell
Wayne joined Harriers for an undisclosed fee in October 2003. The former Oxford man was former manager Ian Britton's last signing and also a rarity in the fact that we paid a fee for him. A commanding Centre Half, Wayne, who is a bit of a Bros lookalike, joined Kidder from Chester City. He had apparently fell out with Seals boss, Mark Wright. Looks a good signing for us and has recently been appointed captain.Steve Burton
Young Left back who became Jan Molbys 1st signing, in his 2nd spell at Harriers. Joined on a months loan to act as defensive cover.

4. Danny Williams
A Bosman signing from Wrexham in 2001 Danny has become a crowd favourite at Aggboro. The former Welsh U21 cap started at Liverpool before being aloud to move to home town club Wrexham. Was last seasons player of the year and was rumoured to be leaving during the summer of 2003. fortunately for Harriers fans he signed a new one year deal. An all action Midfield player with a good passing range, strong tackle and powerful shot, basically a 3rd division Gerrard. Famously had his push bike pinched from a Chinese take away, wouldn’t like to be the bloke if he was caught by “Daggers”.
Daggers
7. Dean Bennett
Deano joined Harriers in 1999 from Bromsgrove in a then record transfer, with then Manager Phil Mullen bringing in Stuart Payne as part of the deal, not sure who cost the most. Benno, who started his career at WBA, can also play up front and is a pacy attacker. Not the best of campaigns last season, playing some games at wing back, will be looking to re discover his goal touch, having had a good goal record the previous season 2001-2.
8. Sean Flynn
Flynny initially joined on trial last pre season after his release from Tranmere. The Billy Mitchell lookalike started out at Halesowen before moving into the pro game with spells at Coventry, Derby, Stoke and West Brom, the team he supported as a boy. Having impressed Ian Britton he signed a one year deal, which was renewed in the summer of 2003. The club captain adds steel, or a bit of “hommer”, as they say in his native Black Country. Famously fell over his kids toys last season and missed a few games as a result.
Sean left Harriers in September 2003, after a fall out with former boss Ian Britton.
11. Sam Shilton
The son of former England keeper Peter signed a new 12 month deal in summer 2003. formerly with Plymouth(with his old man), Coventry and Hartlepool from where he joined Harriers in 2001. his best position is wing back and last seasons 3-5-2 formation suited him and he had quite a good campaign.
14. Sean Parrish
Sean was Britt’s first signing as manager, joining last summer 2002 on a two year deal after rejecting a chance to stay at Chesterfield. He won promotion from the 3rd division with both Chesterfield and Northampton. The Wrexham born midfielder started at Telford Utd before moving onto Doncaster. A reasonable first season and a fine goal against Wrexham , his home town team.
Graham Ward
Graham signed for Kiddie in August 2003 following his release from Wolves. it was widely reported that the Ireland under 20 international was unlucky to be released from Molinuex. Ward signed a one year contract.
Nick Heath
Young Nick signed his first pro deal in August 2003.He has already made a brief league appearance at Macclesfield during 2002/3.
Adam Murray
Adam initially joined Harriers on loan at the end of August 2003 from 1st division Derby County. A former England under 20 player, Murray has made over 50 appearance for the Rams in both division one and the Premiership.After returning to Derby, Adam was released from his contract due to well documented drink problems.Adam subsequently has proceeded to get his career and life back on track.He enjoyed short spells at Solihull,Burton & Notts County before signing an 18 month deal with Harriers in December 2003.
Lloyd Dyer
Joined on initial months loan from WBA.Left sided wing back/midfielder.
LLoyd has returned to the BaggiesRob Betts
Rob started his carreer at Doncaster Rovers before being snapped up as a youngster by Coventry City. He did make some fleeting appearances for the Sky Blues before being released. After a brief spell with Rochdale, former boss, Ian Britton moved in to sign him
JJ Melligan
JJ became a fans favourite during the 2002/3 season, when he initially joined Harriers on loan for a month from Wolves. The loan was extended before JJ was recalled and made a couple of sub appearance for the Wolves. The Ireland under 21 cap then returned to Kidder for the rest of the season and enjoyed a fine season, scoring 12 goals. JJ rejoined Harriers in October 2003, again on loan, after failing to break into the Premiership new boys 1st team squad.
JJ returned to Wolves after 1 months loan, making 5 appearances for Harriers and 1 goal.
Lee Jenkins
Lee joined Harriers on a free transfer from Swansea City. The former Welsh U21 player made his Swans debut under Harriers boss Jan Molby and is equally at home in midfield or defence.Dean Keates
Joined Harriers in February 2004 from Hull City. The tenacious midfielder was previously with Walsall, where he helped the Saddlers to a play off win.
Strikers
12. Bo Henriksen
Bomber Bo, joined Harriers initially on loan from Danish side Helforge before signing permanently in a reported £12,000 deal. Bo is one player who can turn a game in an instant and was last seasons top scorer with 20 goals. It wasn’t just quantity with Bo, many of his strikes were of a quality far higher than the 3rd division. Whilst at Helforge he did appear in a Champions League game, against Rangers. Bo should be playing higher than he is but were not complaining.

17. Matt Lewis
the million pound man, according to boss Jan Molby, things haven’t quite worked out for Matt as yet. A few fleeting appearances, off the bench and in local cup games have shown much promise. This is make or break year for the youngster, who joined on a 3 year deal in 2001 from Marconi. He started last season by training with Aston Villa before moving on to loan spells at Evesham and Bath City in non league.
Matt left Harriers to link up with Hinkley for a reported fee of around £5000.
John Williams
Experienced front man Williams signed a 3 month contract in August 2003 after a trial spell.Known as the "fying postman", big John was once the fastest player in the football league. Has played for 11 football league sides after starting his career at Cradley Town.
Bish
Andy Bishop
Adny rejoined Harriers on an initial month loan deal in August 2003. The previous season, the Walsall youngster enjoyed a long loan spell from November through to the end of the season. Scored on his league debut at Torquay.
Andy has returned to Bescott, scoring a vital winner against Carlisle in his final game.
Mikeal Antoine Currier
Young French striker joined Harriers on a non contract basis from Oldham in September 2003, formerly with Notts Forest
After 27 mins against Lincoln, Mikeal joined Rochdale.
Andy White
Andy joined Harriers on a 2 month loan from Mansfield Town in November 2003. He joined the Stags from Hucknall and has had loan experience at Crewe and Boston. At 6ft4", he is seen as a potential replacement for Drewe Broughton.
Scott Rickards
Scott joined Harriers from Conference side Tamworth for an undisclosed fee in December 2003. Scott started his career at Derby County, and is apparently good friends with fellow new boy Adam Murray.
