Today Harriers picked up a well earned point at high flying Swansea City, where they drew 0-0. But tonight the main talk of the town is a possible return of Jan Molby. Tonights Express& Star paper, reports that Jan could be back.LATE NEWS, BRITTON LEAVES HARRIERS

Well its been quite a day for Kidderminster Harriers. After a hard fought draw at high flying Swansea, the rumours are abound of a change of manager.
So an impressive point earned at the Vetch Field. New defender Wayne Hatswell had a man of the match debut and did very well and a very useful point. The other good news is the fact that it lifts us up the table to 22nd.
According to reports in tonight’s Express and Star, Harriers could be welcoming back former boss Jan Molby (for the full story click on Kiddy Links and then scroll down to Harriers@Express and Star). So is the story true ? are Kidder about to bring back the man Britt replaced ? Do we want the big Dane back at Aggborough ? Would Jan do the business for us ? Well I’m not too sure about anything and to be honest I’m still in shock. Lets look at the facts :
Is it true ? Well, think about it, who first reported Jan was leaving to go to Hull ? You guessed it, the same Express and Star reporters, Mr Nash and Mr Cinnamond. They got that story correct, so maybe it is true. According to their report, the board blocked 2 loan moves as well. Mmm, very interesting.
Do we want Jan Molby back ? Well, to be honest, I don’t really know, in fact, I’d never thought about it, up til a few hours ago. I must confess I did like Jan when he was here and he did give us a little profile. Not to mention he is the man who took us into the football league. Those were in the days of former Chairman Lionel Newton of course and money was more plentiful then. Now, Harriers have one of the lowest if not the lowest budget in Division Three. Could Jan do the business on a shoestring like Britt has, could he work without an assistant. Who knows, maybe some more money has become available, maybe someone else is joining (or rejoining) the board. I don’t really know. The other factor is, can we Kiddy fans forgive Jan for leaving last time. I think some will and some wont, for me, I wont know until anything happens.
So it could prove to be an interesting few days at Aggborough. At this present moment I do feel a little sorry for Britt. At the moment I;m not sure whether I want him out in any case. All I was hoping for was at least one new striker, once we got one, hopefully a good one then I think I could judge it better. You may remember I did say I knew who my choice would be, if Britt were to leave. Well I didn’t really want to say, after all Britt is still our boss. But in such circumstances I will reveal who my choice would be, if Britt were to go. I would plump for Gary Mills, who is now 1st team coach at Coventry City. Why ? well last time the Harriers managers job was available, when Jan left last time, I remember him being linked and reading a little about his management career. He managed non league, Tamworth, Kings Lynn and Grantham. With very job he brought relative success without much spending. Another factor, which impressed me, he didn’t totally change the team and mainly worked with the players that he had got.
Still, what happens happens. The Harriers are still the Harriers, if you catch my drift. Whoever is in charge, I will still support them.
