Vics in the Cup

Harriers are to face old Conference friends in the FA Cup 1st round.The game takes place in a couple of weeks on November 8th.Lets hope for a good un.

NEWS ROUND UP

So its Northwich at home after the Vics beat Halifax on Sunday at Wincham Park. The Vics are currently sharing with Witton Albion as they wait for a new ground to be built. So a game to look forward to, Vics were normally a good team for us to play. A good run is long overdue.

The only other club news, ITV Teletext reports that Jan is stepping up his search for players. No doubt a striker is top of that list (please!).

Other footie news sees Max Griggs announce that he's to stop funding his creation, Rushden & Diamonds. not going to gloat,just that it will give the Diamonds a taste of what its like for the rest of us.Also today sees UEFA charge England and the dirty Turks with regard to the tunnel incident.

Finally a bit of fun. Did you see the programme on Saturday. In the fans view bit, it seemed the lad had beleived our silly story about a Russian takeover. See the below link. Also i noticed in Saturdays Prog. that JOhn Williams was due to sing in The Harriers Arms on Saturday night!!
