The Jumpjet Journal is back online and Harriers are back on track.Sorry weve been offline, a few probs with the old monitor. A bit late, but a few news items and a breif on a pleasant trip to Rochdale for a 1-0 win.

JUMPJET JOURNAL BACK ONLINE
A quick apology for the absence of any reports since last Thursday when my monitor packed up. Anyway, welcome back and lets talk about what’s been happening.
DALE 0 KIDDER 1
A fine win over Rochdale has lifted Harriers up the table. Harriers made one change from the FA Cup win over Northwich with Steve Burton coming in for Sam Shilton. After weathering an early storm Harriers took control and ended up comfortable winners. Harriers went close with Sean Parrish firing over from inside the area after a fine cut back from Andy White. Harriers goal came 10 minutes before half time with Matt Gadsby netting his 1st for the club. The goal came after good work from big John Williams on the right, who set it up perfectly for “Gadders” to side foot home. The half also saw a good effort from the revitalised Dean Bennett.
The 2nd half started with Dale using all of their subs, this saw Harriers “legend” Antoine Currier coming on, with little effect to be honest. Then something bizarre happened. One of the Dale subs, was injured and unable to continue. I didn’t notice it at first, but we actually ended up playing against 10 men for the last ½ hour or so. Bo came on for Andy White and went close a couple of times, most notably with a fine chip, which Dale’s mini keeper Edwards just about tipped over. Dale did ok considering but we held out for a deserved 3 points, which took us above Cheltenham on goal difference.
So all in all a super day out at Dale. A friendly club, and to be honest around about the same size as us. Not being disrespectful, more of a compliment really. Nice pub by the ground, nice chippy, no bother and 3 points, marvellous. It really seems that Jan has got em going again. With Dean Bennett and Bo looking much better. Lets hope we can keep it up.
NEWS UPDATE
A couple of items to catch up on whilst we’ve been offline. Danish striker Jesper Christianson is currently on trial and apparently Jan is keen to sign his fellow countryman. The striker, who had a spell with Grimsby, is currently with Danish side Odense. I don’t know much about him, but if he’s anything like, Bo or Skoberg, then he’ll do nicely. Jan hasn’t let us down with many foreign signings really. Rene Petterson was ok, just injured. Abu Sall was mad, but a cracking player, and Parfait was good, only carrying a medical condition, so hopefully, Jesper can be a good signing.
Former loanee JJ Melligan has joined fellow 3rd division side Doncaster Rovers on loan from Wolves. I suppose it’s a pity we still didn’t have JJ, but at present we don’t seem to be missing him. Another potential Aggboro arrival is former player Richie Appleby. Appleby is very much a Molby man, playing for Jan at Swansea as well as ourselves. Richie has been carrying an injury for a while and has been given a couple of week by his current club Hull to get fit or get out. Jan has stated in the media that he is still looking to strengthen the squad.
NEXT UP
This Saturday sees Harriers take on Torquay United at Aggborough, and there might be a few women there. Apparently its Nationwide women’s day this week, so come on fellas, you never know your luck.(see official site- via Kiddy Links). Will preview this fixture later in the week. Don’t forget to make your predictions. With being offline, I couldn’t this week. For the record, I was going for a Kiddy win by 2-1 against Rochdale. See you later in the week.
