It has been announced today that Midfield general Danny Williams has joined Chester City on a months loan.Is this the end for Danny boy as a Kidderman?

Today Harriers official site confirmed what Harriers fans have been dreading in a way with the news that Danny Williams has joined Chester City on a months loan.

According to the official site, Harriers boss Jan Molby has indicated that he doesnt want a player that is unsettled and Jan has his eye on next season as well. With the fact that Danny is out of contract in the summer, perhaps he wasnt prepared to commit to us. Of course, last summer, Harrier did have some difficulties in getting him to sign. Former boss Ian Britton offered him a 2 year deal, but Danny went AWOL for a while before emerging to sign only a 12 month contract. If Danny had left last summer then Harriers would have been entitled to some kind of fee. Now Danny is 24, he could leave for nothing in the summer.

So last seasons player of the year looks like hes played his last game for Kidder. Danny was a favourite of mine and was one of our most popular players.Many rumours have circulated over the last week or so about Danny leaving.At the end of the day, if Danny was going to leave in any case then Jan is right to let him leave. Maybe we may get some kind of fee but I doubt it. However, if Danny is sorted with another club for next season then I would doubt his 100% commitment to our cause at the moment.

All I can say is thankyou to him for a couple of years of stirling service and some fantastic long range goals. Daggers,as he is known, has been a fine servent to KHFC and I wish him well. Of course, with this being a loan deal then who knows, he may return.

Finally, with this I would expect some player movement in, possibly before Saturdays clash with Swansea. I noticed on teletext that Shrewsburys Colin Cramb is being chased by 2 unnamed league clubs, maybe it could be in. Also Dele Adebola, another striker, has recently left Coventry. Who knows, perhaps these 2 may be coming in. Jan and the boys have been training at Lilleshall this week in a bid to ressarect our poor form. Maybe these 2 or any others have been with them. (please note, the 2 players names are not from any info Ive recieved, Im just guessing.)

Anyway, will do Swansea preview later, maybe with new additions to Harriers squad.
