Jan Molby to Liverpool as manager, Jason MacAteer to Aggborough, Chinese takeover at Kidder ? Well maybe takeaway, but the rumours are about, plus the realistic ones.
Players linked with Kidder so far
Ian Foster Was seen at the last home game with his Kidder track suit on and lives in Kidder. I would'nt be surprised to see Fozzie back at Aggie next season.
Richard Forsyth The other Fozzie, and another former player. Released by Cheltenham and linked because he started his career here. Not sure.
Richie Appleby Richie has apparently moved back to the area creating speculation of a return to Kidder. I think we will see him given at least a trial next term.
JJ Melligan Some still think he will return, whilst others predict a move to Cheltenham, I think a move to the patio diggers is more likely.
Richie Walker * The former Villa youngster is apparently Jans main target according to the Express & Star newspaper. After leaving Villa he joined Blackpool and has had short spells with Northampton (loan) and Oxford. Birmingham born, which could indicate he may favopur a move home.
Phil Jeavons* The Grimsby forward has yet to sign up for the Mariners as they sort out their new manager. Played for Jan whilst at Hull on loan. Should be true as it was reported again in the Express & Star which does get most things correct, Jans return being one of them.
Aggboro to Anfield ? Well highly unlikely although he is a former Liverpool player and a manager. Jan was on Talk Sport this morning discussing the Liverpool job. Mind you, he was talking about others and not himself. The Jason McAteer is anotehr flight of fancy as are probably links to Lee Trundle of Swansea.
There are plenty of others doing the rounds on message boards and in the pubs. One which never seems to go away is the takeover by a Danish consortium headed no doubt by Jan. You never know, but Jans title as Director of Football is the main reason people think this.
