Another departure

Earlier this week, Adam Murray left Kidderminster Harriers, today it was announced that another midfielder, Dean Bennett has also departed, joining League One Wrexham

Harriers report back for training on Monday, with a bit of swimming, good job really, as even a game of 5 a side may prove diffucult. Yes another departure today as Dean Bennett, changed his mind over his contract offer and signed for Wrexham, where he lines up with former Kidder man Danny Williams. Dean always give his best, and on his day, he was a quality performer, but could be inconsistent. So a move to a higher league is a bit of a shock. Who knows, perhaps with more time on the ball, Dean could do well ? A bit dissapointed that everyone thought he was staying, only for a late change of heart. He was offered reduced terms, so I suppose you cant blame him really.

So its not looking good at the moment and Harriers boss Jan Molby needs to get in some quality quickly, we do not even have a team at the moment, let alone a sqaud. No doubt some trialists will be joining up next week, but I think we need at least 2 or 3 proper signings, or season long loans. If anything to appease the fans, who this week are not happy bunnies, and rightly so.

However, a couple of good signings and Jan could surprise us all. Not looking likely at present, the Conference is the only likely thing. But I will reserve judgement until I see who comes in. So come on Jan, get your finger out.
