Cameroon Star Dies

Cameroon midfielder Marc-Vivien Foe has died, aged just 28. Foe was playing for his country when he collapsed and was later confirmed dead.
Former West Ham and Man City midfielder Marc-Vivien Foe, has died.
The Cameroon star had been playing in the Confederations Cup against Colombia, when he collapsed in the middle of the pitch. The player was confirmed dead 45 minutes later.
This news has shocked the football world, and people have been paying respect for the player since he sadly died on Thursday night.
Harry Redknapp, who brought Foe to West Ham, has led tributes to the talented midfielder.
Redknapp said: “You couldn’t meet a kinder, more gentle giant then Marc. He was a fantastic boy to work with, and everybody loved him. It’s come as such a shock.”
Also former Man City chairman David Bernstein called Marc “a great credit to his country” after the Cameroon midfielder’s tragic death.
Bernstein also added: “He was a very gentle person and a very gentle man.”
The final for the Confederations Cup between France and Cameroon will still be played on Sunday FIFA have confirmed.
