Premiership strugglers Blackburn Rovers have managed to land Columbus Crew's Brian McBride in a £600,000 deal. He should complete his move to Ewood Park next week.
Brian McBride is all set for his move from Columbus Crew to Blackburn Rovers. The deal should be completed next week in a £600,000 deal after the club changed their mind about the bid. This is a shock as Brian McBride was looking like he'd never leave the U.S.A.
Souness had originally only wanted the 31-year-old on loan but the Major League Soccer and Columbus Crew club were only prepared to sell.Rovers chief executive John Williams told the Lancashire Evening Post about McBride: 'I had a conversation with an agent last night and there's a possibility a deal can be done.'
