Oldham Athletic's new owners have revealed that Manchester City coach Stuart Pearce has turned down the opportunity to discuss the vacant manager's job at the club.
England legend Pearce, who had a spell as player-manager at Nottingham Forest six years ago, is believed to be keen to return to management, but told Oldham that he didn't think that this was an appropriate time to discuss their vacancy.
Oldham will still be on the lookout for a manager so, so all you lower league teams watch out. Your manager could be off.
