Tiny Out, Petkovic In?

Blues could be ready to offload Martin Taylor to Glasgow Rangers and are reportedly eyeing up Spartak Moscow defender Dusan Petkovic as a replacement.

Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers are interested in Birmingham City defender Martin Taylor following Jean Alain Boumsong's big money move to Newcastle United.

Rangers could make a move for Taylor this week and would be willing to pay in the region of £1million. Taylor has struggled to hold down a first team place for the blues due to the form of Matthew Upson and Kenny Cunningham and has grown frustrated at the lack of oppotunity's Steve Bruce has given him.

Taylor was a £1.5million capture from Blackburn Rovers but has only played a handful of games at right back for blues during his spell in the Midlands.

Spartak Moscow defender Dusan Petkovic is the man being tipped to replace Taylor at St Andrews if he moves to Rangers.

Petkovic is a Serbia and Montenegro international and has reportedly been in England this week discussing terms with a Premiership club, believed to be Birmingham City.

The 30 year old centre back has played for a host of clubs including Real Mallorca, Wolfsburg, Nurnburg and OFK Belgrade. It is unknown what kind of fee Moscow would demand for the defender.
