A round up of all the latest transfer rumours and transfer signings as Birmingham City look to bolster there squad and bounce straight back to the Premiership which looks likely if we keep our players.

Heskeys a money grabber?

Birmingham City look set to miss out on miss firing striker Emile Heskey as reports suggest that his wages are just to high for some of the reported clubs interested (Wigan and Fulham). It makes you wonder what is he on? will he be the highest paid player in the championship? £30,000 £40,000 £50,000??? Personally i would like to see Heskey leave the club as his scoring record is not the best and it would free up money for our transfer targets.

Calum set to sign?

Birmingham City have had a £1,500,000 bid accepted for Calum Davenport of Tottenham Hotspur.
Davenport who signed for Spurs from Coventry has been unable to cement his place in the first team after making only 5 appearences after falling to 5th place in the pecking order for the London club, the 23-year-old has said he would like to join the Blues even though Premiership side Reading are hot on his tail. (Calum Davenport does not have a tail.....)

Stephen Kelly signs....

Although yet to be confirmed officially it is believed that the Republic of Ireland u21 captain has signed a four-year contract with Birmingham City.
