Sorry to be a killjoy but for me this has been, so far probably the most dire 5/6 Nations tournaments since the game went pro. The only reasonable game so far was Ireland v France.
Im already losing sleep over the Lions. And a Lions side that will not face (to my mind) a particularly good Bok team to boot.

Six Nations table updated with the final standing. England claim runner-up spot for the second year running. Congrats to Ireland on the grand slam!

Proof that whilst the 6 nations has been entertaining the teams are not very good. England finishing second when playing dire rugby for most of the comp says it all.

Any chance to knock the English, eh? Everyone's so good (apart from those wearing the Rose) until the final results are in and lo and behold, England with the best points difference and finishing second... so everyone changes their tune and every team is rubbish.
Nothing to do with Wales finishing a lowly fourth is it?
P.S. Well done Ireland!

clutch if you thought England played dire rugby I'd hate to hear your opinions on the rugby Wales, Scotland and Italy played!

we played well for two separate halves, and were gifted points due to selection hari kari. We played ok, I'm amost pleased overall. I thought all teams played their part in what was an entertaining competition. The fact that an at times woeful England finished second highlights the lack of quality in the NH at the moment.

lack of quality in the NH ? Funny how whenever that has been mentioned in the 2005 and 2008 seasons it was quickly dismissed as sour grapes by all Welsh fans !

If England win a game its because the oposition is poor, but if any other team especially the welsh win, its because they are brilliant and are all world class players. The Lions tour will highlight all our problems and confirm who's worth bragging about.England have been to-gether for a few games now and the togetherness is showing.
