Update: 13/4/10 ---- Under 19 England Academies squad facing France Academies at Newbury on Saturday (12pm).
The Under 19 Academies side forms a development and selection bridge between the England U18 and U20 international set-ups and this weekend's 22-man squad includes players capped at both levels.
Hooker Rob Buchanan (Harlequins), number eight Alex Gray (Newcastle Falcons), scrum half Sam Stuart (Harlequins), wings Marcus Watson (London Irish) and Christian Wade (London Wasps), and full back Jack Wallace (London Wasps) all featured in the Under 20 RBS 6 Nations campaign with Wade also appearing for England Sevens this season.
They are joined by this season's England U18 captain and fly half George Ford (Leicester Tigers) and number eight Matt Kvesic (Worcester Warriors) who step up after the side completed a third successive Grand Slam earlier this month.
There are also three backs with famous names involved.
Centre Guy Armitage (London Irish) is bidding to follow in the footsteps of his brothers, the England full back Delon and flanker Steffon.
Another centre, Owen Farrell (Saracens), capped at Under 18 level last season, is the son of former England centre and Great Britain rugby league great Andy Farrell, while wing Manu Tuilagi (Leicester Tigers) is one of six brothers who have been involved with the Welford Road club.

I listed this in the lead in to the story, maybe should have put it in the body of the story?

cool, thanks Kath. The seemingly never ending dissapointments of watching the first team has led to me following the age group sides much more closely. It just feels so good to read about English teams winning and playing good rugby. Such a shame any englishmen over 20 can't produce such results! Wish these games were televised.

Gloucester's site talk about an England under 19s academies side playing in Wales on 13 May. Can't find it anywhere else. Is it before or after the Under 20's game there? Thanks
