Well what a day for a day dream ...... Thrilling match to watch from both sides really.  However, England stood up and every man counted on the day.

Match Thoughts

A super performance by the whole team, my only gripe would be the way we allowed Scotland to get through gaps in the first half and the tacklers seem to be just bouncing off them.   That was a worry but overall really pleased with the pace of the game and the end to end stuff.  England's quick off loading game was much better to watch then the pick and drive of a year or so ago.   Yes there were some mistakes but to be fair at the pace the game was going you could forgive them.  All in all looking forward to seeing much more of England playing this way.

I thought Farrell had a great game and thought Ben Youngs shone on the day, not forgetting Chris Ashton, Danny Care and debut player Billy Twelvetrees made his mark along with Geoff Parling.  However, my MOM would be Captain Chris Robshaw, he was all over the park and there when needed when the ball was spilled to collect, outstanding leadership today by Chris and so strong.

Next week will be another game entirely but let's just savour this for the moment.
