England put Australia to the sword last weekend but if I am being honest although I am delighted with the win, if that had been the ‘All Blacks’ we would have been finished off in the first half.
We were really struggling in the first half and lucky to go in at half time in the lead. Regardless, of referee decisions we made it hard for ourselves. Australia just imploded in the last 8-10 mins of the game and frankly the final score flattered England.
The conditions were awful but they were awful for both teams England however, took advantage and played really well in the slippery conditions. All in all, a good psychological win for England and the Cook Cup remains in the Northern Hemisphere.
