David Connolly heading to the Royals

Wimbledon have accepted an undisclosed fee from the Royals for star striker David Connolly. He is set to have talks with the Royals next week.

Royals look set to make another signing in the shape of David Connolly. The Wimbledon striker who suffered from injuries last season arrived at Wimbledon on a free transfer from Holland. He still managed to score 24 goals for the Dons last season. It is another sign that Royals are serious about getting promotion next season. If Royals do manage to capture both Murrey and Connolly it could take Royals spending to nearly a million.
