At least another two signings to come

Alan Pardew has promised to bring in at least another two players to strengthen the squard ahead of the new season. It is rumoured that one will be a forward and one defender.

Alan Pardew is hoping to complete the signing of David Connally in the next week. The offer of 500,000 for the player was accepted a a week ago from Wimbledon, who are currently in deep finacial problems and no ground to play in currently. Alan Pardew has hinted that a new defender will be at Reading next season. After Vivash's departure to Swindon and John Mackie told he can leave on a free. It has left Reading short at the back, with only Ricky Newman or the youngster Steven Castle as replacements for Brown and Williams. One defender that Pards is tracking is Wolves Ivar Ingirmarsson who was formally at Brentford.
